Thanks Barbara,

I used bought a quart of the Old Masters gel stain and that was enough for all of my cabinets. I even wasted quite a bit with experimentation. I did have a really hard time getting the spar urethane staying consistent and matte - not glossy. I now use wipe-on polyurethane and really love it. It is so easy to use.

Good luck on your project.

We live in Missouri and Kansas is within 20 miles. That granite, Crema Caramel seems pretty common around here. We bought ours through Nebraska Furniture Mart from TopMasters, located in Mission, KS. I highly recommend them for installation. They were great. http://www.topmasterinc.com | 2844 Roe Lane | Kansas City, KS 66103 | phone: 913-492-3030

Hi Denise, I’m still learning how to attract subscribers. It may be more complicated than dating! This weekend I have two posts than I plan to post on Pinterest. One of them is how I painted my switch plates to match the backsplash. The other is our clever cord disguise for the wall mounted tv. Thanks for being a follower! Adrienne
